Nick Trask is a crime boss in Los Angeles and a major adversary of Jennifer Walters.
History[]
A longtime enemy of Sheriff Morris Walters, Nick Trask was responsible for the death of Morris's wife, Elaine. After several confrontations with Morris, Trask set his aim on Morris's daughter, Jennifer, particularly when she was planning on assisting his rival, Lou Monkton. He sent his goons to gun Jennifer down outside her home. However, due to her cousin Bruce Banner's intervention, her life was saved by a blood transfusion, though unbeknownst to Trask, she soon became the creature known as She-Hulk.
After many failed murder attempts on Jennifer Walters, including one which resulted in the death of her best friend Jill Stevens, Trask began focusing on new ideas. He framed She-Hulk for the murder of trucker Jake Fox by using the robot She-Droid, and later created the Silver Serpent, a mechanical snake that he piloted to siphon oil from Roxxon. This scheme led to his final confrontation with She-Hulk, who battered the Silver Serpent and caused it to malfunction, sending Trask slithering deep into the earth's core and presumably to his death.
Powers and abilities[]
While Nick Trask has no powers, he is a skilled gunman. He also pilots the Silver Serpent, a mechanical serpent that can burrow underground and siphon liquids, among other things.
Trask is also a skilled snake handler, using a variety of pet snakes for their venom, including a cobra.
